Nandi is considered the mount or vahana of Lord Shiva, and the gatekeeper for the abode of Shiva and Parvati. As such, Nandi always has a place in every Shiva temple. This pair, exhibited the smoothed down texture of a true vintage piece, is elegant in its simplicity. Resting upon a corniched square base, it is stable and well balanced.
