This piece of Kerala sculpture is a work of wood sculpting relating to the inherent creative expression culture that pervades the country. It represents a tribal dancer in the complete traditional dancing outfit, with the flared skirt, form fitting blouse, and exquisite headdress. It also depicts the piercings and earrings typical to the indigenous population of the Western Ghats. It is not merely a decorative item, but a symbol of an entire community, one that is granted relatively less visibility. This piece has been hand crafted by the tribal population themselves, and forged using their own methods. Made entirely of wood, with all natural paints and a red oxide base, this piece has withstood the test of time remarkably well, and will continue to do so for generations to come.

We will assess the damage and revert within 24 hours. We will either arrange to collect the product and send you a replacement free of charge or just send you a replacement part.
