Bar Counter

This bar counter, made of Burma teak wood, has a foldable counter, and a bottle rack inside, in the traditional design. This style of furnishing was introduced to India well after the colonization settlement – particularly with influences from the Southern states of America. However, the signature grace and elegance of Indian furnishing has not been lost, there has only been an import of practicality and utility. When the doors of the counter open, the counter itself opens up and rests on the top of the shelves that can now hold bottles, glasses, and garnish. The clean lines make for it to be extremely easy to be stowed away when not in use, and the space inside also makes for an excellent wine rack, to protect your wine from the elements. This is an extremely elegant piece in all its simplicity, with a pair of the most subtle door handles and the varnish emphasizing the natural grain of the Burma teak.
