This antique Shiva and Parvati Statue is handcrafted in South India. Tall and beautiful piece.
It is 40cm long,28cm wide and 55cm high. Over one hundred years old, this item has been
painted with organic vegetable paints that were hand mixed by indigenous artisans in Tamilnadu.
Shiva is seated with his wife, Parvati on the vehicle of Shiva, the white bull, Nandi. His front
hand is held up in abhaya mudra which is a symbol for protection. When the husband and wife
are together in sculpture Shiva is generally larger. Nandi is standing up with a fine carpet on his
back. Shiva has matted hair which is associated with his Nataraja. A snake forms a garland
around his neck.

We will assess the damage and revert within 24 hours. We will either arrange to collect the product and send you a replacement free of charge or just send you a replacement part.
