This beautiful green glass lamp is a synagogue fixture of the Jewish tradition, known as the sanctuary lamp, or the Ner Tamid, the eternal light. It symbolises the eternal well being and presence of the Lord, as in the ancient Temple in Jerusalem. Representative of the permanent covenant between the Jewish people and God, once lit, it is kept burning permanently. Made in the contemporary style of stained glass, this particular piece harkens from the 19th century, with chain links to be hung from, and a brass base grip.

We will assess the damage and revert within 24 hours. We will either arrange to collect the product and send you a replacement free of charge or just send you a replacement part.
